Robotic Assistance Optimizing PCI

Demonstation of robotic assistance to treat a 74-year old male who presented with dizziness and complete heart block. The patient has a non-STEMI and ECG shows inferior septal hypokinesis consistent with coronary disease. The angiogram shows a lesion in the distal RCA. Tom Stys, MD, FACC, FSCAI, will use the CorPath Vascular Robotic System to precisely treat the lesion and demonstrate a host of benefits brought by robotic assistance. The benefits demonstrated include sub-millimeter measurement of anatomy and millimeter by millimeter movements of the guidewire and balloon/stent.
