Adjunctive External Ultrasound Guidance for Crossing a Complex CTO with the Crosser® Catheter

This case highlights the use of fluroscopy with adjunctive external ultrasound guidance of the Crosser® CTO Recanalization Catheter through a long segment CTO beginning at the proximal SFA. The Crosser® Catheter is able to traverse the 300 mm complex lesion. Under a combination of fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance, Dr. Mustapha is able to visualize the Crosser® Catheter pass intraluminally via atherectomy past the distal CTO cap. Please consult product labels and package inserts for indications, contraindications, hazards, warnings, cautions and instructions for use. Warning: Never advance or withdraw the Crosser® Catheter without proper fluoroscopic guidance.
